Human/Inventory Management
In Alex's past 3 years working with Sodexo in Oneonta, NY, he has expanded his roles in the business. He is currently working as an inventory analyst on weekends and student manager/worker during the week. He is the only student inventory analyst at Mills dining hall at SUNY Oneonta, having the trust of the supervisors. Alex received the Duncan Tenney College Scholarship Award for his help in inventory delivery from PepsiCo of the Hudson Valley.
Interpersonal skills
Alex has worked in different aspects of the business field, from delivery to management to inventory logging. Present in all paths is the need for strong communication. He enjoy working alongside all kinds of people and finding new ways for things to work, and it is through his activity both in person and in applications that he is open to smooth collaboration.
Business Analytics
Through his work and education, Alex has honed interest in data analysis and presentation. It is through these insights he's been able to make informed decisions that could increase efficiency and cooperation in the world of business. He has achieved much of this knowledge through the online courses DataCamp and Coursera from his information systems course.
Projects
Alex has produced many projects ranging from company analysis to poster advertisements, showing an ability to both break down large quantitative data and appeal to differing demographics based on the project. These projects represent an ability to assess one's present financial and social value and in turn be able to make informed long-term decisions on individual or company focus.
Career Planning
For this project, students of an industry communication course were tasked with finding an ideal job listing for our future and discussing how they would attain the position through interview and positioning. This document is a good example of the steps one would take when adjusting lifestyle to ensure success in the firm listed. In this case, Alex imagined the steps he would take to be a top candidate for a co-manager job in Hobby Lobby in New York.

A semester long report was compiled by Alex Bodeker and 5 of his peers regarding the state of Boeing Company's operations. Alex focused on the financial statements and ratios section. With the comparative tables of Boeing and Airbus linked below, it's shows he can simplify a company's long financial statements into simple insights that are used to make informed decisions.

These flyers meet requirements on contact info, price, and specific aspects that appeal to the target demographics. It's important to know how your consumer demographic will perceive your marketing campaigns.
